Trümmelbach Waterfalls in Lauterbrunnen

Surprise your seminar participants with an exhilarating trip to the Trümmelbach Waterfalls in Lauterbrunnen, a truly unique natural spectacle in Europe.

The Trümmelbach Waterfalls are 10 roaring glacier falls inside the mountain. The water from Switzerland’s iconic trio of mountains, the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, drains into the Trümmelbach stream. The stream flows though a ravine in the rock and forms 10 waterfalls. Like a thundering avalanche, the melt water plunges some 140 metres into the depths. Some of the waterfalls are so narrow and hidden that no daylight can penetrate – these subterranean waterfalls lie mainly in the upper section of the ravine. Visitors get the opportunity to observe the waterfalls up-close by taking a lift 100 metres up to a viewing platform. From here, safe paths and tunnels lead to the illuminated melt water discharge from the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Observing this sheer force of nature is always an awe-inspiring experience.

Then it’s time for your participants to catch their breath and enjoy refreshments at the Weidstübli Restaurant in the village of Lauterbrunnen. This restaurant and campsite is known throughout the region for its great cuisine and cosy and typically Swiss ambiance.
