The Triathlon, with its ascent of 5500 metres, is one of the toughest in the world and already ranks as a classic. For athletes as well as carers and spectators the event is a unique nature experience. Because the beautiful scenery of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau is tangibly close during the triathlon. The swimmers start in Thun to cross the Thunersee. Then it goes from Oberhofen with the road bike on Meiringen and the Grosse Scheidegg to Grindelwald. From there by mountain bike on the Kleine Scheidegg and Wengen, Lauterbrunnen to Stechelberg. And now on foot via Mürren tot he Schilthorn. The Inferno Triathlon – a pure experience.
